How many chargers do I need per application?
1-2 chargers  are required per application - depending on the size of the whipper and the recipe prepared . Generally, one N₂O charger is needed for 0.25L and 0.5L, and 2 chargers are needed for 1.0L.
How do I empty a second charger into a quart whipper? 
When finished emptying the first charger into your prepared whipper, simply unscrew the charger holder, and remove the used charger (you will hear a soft hiss which is normal), replace the used charger in holder, and screw on until you hear the gas entering the whipper. The one-way valve keeps all the gas inside the whipper until it’s dispensed through the tip.
Are the chargers tasteless?
Yes – the N₂O gas contained is  food-safe, tasteless and residue-free  , for a 100% pure result.
Can I also whip up vegan alternatives with an N₂O Charger?
Yes  , iSi whippers and chargers also work for vegan products. Browse through our recipes and become inspired.
What is the best way to store the chargers?
The chargers should be stored in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight—ideally in a small box or drawer. Always keep them securely away from children and those who might wish to abuse them.
What if I use a soda (CO₂) charger by mistake?
You will know right away if the wrong gas was used! Soda Chargers will provide a sour taste and will not whip the cream as expected. Simply hold the whipper upright, pointing away from yourself and others, cover the tip and very gently squeeze the lever forcing just the CO₂ gas out of the whipper. Once you hear the gas has been removed, you can empty the whipper and start again with new ingredients.
Can I use cheaper generic chargers in my whipper?
While those other brands will appear to fit into your iSi whipper, they will eventually break the piercing unit of the iSi Whipper because they are not the right size. Your iSi whipper has been designed to work with iSi Chargers and only when using iSi chargers will your 3-year warranty be in effect.
